FITNESS IN A PANDEMIC
The last five and a half months have been something out of the twilight zone. I went into work March 16th in the morning and had to leave early afternoon because all of the gyms were shut down. Never in my wildest dreams did i think that i would be sitting here at my island at the end of August, writing my first blog on my own website cause my gym shut down permanently. These very crazy months have really pushed me out of my comfort zone, that is for sure.
I loved my job at the gym and missing the people i have had the pleasure to train and meet through classes is an understatement. I have been lucky enough to still have classes on zoom and be in contact with a few of them. that has made it a bit easier. I waited to do this website till I knew what was going to happen to the gym. It is now time for me to try this online thing and hope that i can make a difference in someones life.
As you can see this is a simple website. It is just me with the help of my son and husband to do all the technical stuff. I did not grow up in the tech world. Hell, when i was in high school we were making flow charts on paper! So please be patient with me as we navigate this world on the interwebs.

My hope for this community is that we become a group of people who support, encourage, and connect with one another. A safe place where we all feel validated and free to be ourselves. A place where we learn to love ourselves where we are at even if that is not where we want to stay. A place to feel empowered on our health and fitness journey and in all other aspects of our lives.
